Studio Practice

The recurring studio practice

Studio Practice is a weekly, guided art practice held in small groups.
It offers a steady rhythm for making, exploring, and staying connected to your creative life.

Rather than working toward an outcome, Studio Practice invites you into process: showing up regularly, working with your hands, and letting what wants to emerge unfold over time. Each session is gently guided, spacious, and grounded, held with care rather than instruction.

This is not a class, and not a drop-in moment.
It’s a practice you return to.

What to expect

  • A weekly rhythm in the studio

  • Gently guided but open

  • Spacious time to work at your own pace

  • A small, consistent group

  • Materials provided (or bring your own, if you prefer)

Each session is a ‘seed’.

Nothing needs to be finished.
Nothing needs to be resolved.

What grows does so slowly, through repetition, familiarity and return.

It is allowing the power of the process to unfold.

A weekly rhythm

The Studio Practice is held weekly during the studio season (May–November). You can join at any point during the season, as long as there is space.

Most people come regularly, allowing a rhythm to build.
Others join when it fits their life.

Both are welcome.

“The object isn’t to make art,
it’s to be in that wonderful state that makes art inevitable.”

For whom

Studio Practice is for you if you:

  • long for time to be creative without pressure

  • want a safe space to return to

  • value presence and proocess over product

  • want to feel nourished by keeping your creative spirit alive

You don’t need experience.
You don’t need a plan.
You don’t need to call yourself an artist.

You only need to be willing to show up.

Choosing your moment

Morning and evening sessions hold the same practice.
You choose the moment that fits your life.

  • Morning sessions often feel quieter, spacious, and focused.

  • Evening sessions carry a different energy, shaped by the day that came before.

Neither is better.
Both are held in the same way.

A note on commitment

The Studio Practice asks for presence, not productivity.
You don’t need to attend every week perfectly.
You don’t need to explain absences.

What matters is returning, again and again, when you can.

How to join

Places can be reserved directly online.
Once booked, your place is confirmed and all details are sent by email.
