How the portrait is created
Each portrait begins with a conversation.
We speak about the person or relationship the painting will hold, the atmosphere you are drawn to, the scale of the work, and where it may eventually live.

INVESTMENT
Commission prices depend on scale, medium, complexity, timeline, and the depth of the process.
As a guide, original commissioned paintings begin from:
€1200
Larger portrait commissions, family portraits, and more complex works are quoted individually after the first conversation.
TIMELINE
Most Private Portrait Commissions take between:
6 to 12 weeks
The timeline depends on the scale of the work, the availability of the references, the depth of the process, and the current studio calendar.
Urgent commissions may be possible, but are accepted selectively.
The process

Inquiry
You send a short message about the person, relationship, or chapter you would like the painting to hold.

Conversation
We meet online or in person to discuss the commission, atmosphere, scale, references, and intention.
3.
Proposal
You receive a clear proposal with size, medium, timeline, price, and process.
4.
Studio Work
I create the painting in the studio. Depending on the commission, I may share selected process glimpses.
5.
Completion
The finished painting is presented, documented, and prepared for collection or delivery.
